Hello, my name is Melissa Smith. I am a student teacher from the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg. I have the great privilege of getting to do my last step of my college education with a wonderful third grade teacher; Mrs. Aguis. I have a lot of experience with children. I worked for four years in daycare until I had to children of my own. I have a daughter in the third grade and a son who is in kindergarten. I believe that learning should be engaging so I will be integrating the arts into my lessons as much as possible. I look forward to becoming a teacher and learning along with my students.
